Graduation Requirements

Class of 2010To graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree the student must complete:

  1. 120 semester hours acceptable to Carolina Christian College with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better. The 120 semester hour requirement must be met by the following category of semester hours: Complete the 22 required hours in minor courses with a 2.0 grade for all of the courses.
    1. Complete the 36 semester hours in General Education which must include:
      1. English Composition - 6 Hours
      2. Speech or Literature - 3 Hours
      3. Social Sciences - 9 Hours
      4. Humanities - 9 Hours
      5. Science and/or Mathematics - 3 Hours
    2. Complete 33 semester hours in Biblical Studies.
    3. Complete 9 hours in Ministry
  2. Satisfy all financial obligations to the College and be in good standing with the College.
  3. Successfully complete exit examinations.
  4. Exemplify Christian character, attested to by the recommendation of the faculty and the approval of the Board of Directors of CCC.
  5. Complete exit counseling interview.

To graduate with an Associate of Arts degree the student must complete:

  1. 60 semester hours of courses which must include:
    1. English Composition 6 hours
    2. Speech - 3 hours
    3. Social Sciences - 9 hours
    4. Humanities - 9 hours
    5. Science/Mathematics - 3 hours
  2. Complete 24 semester hours of electives
  3. Complete exit counseling interview.

To graduate with a Master's of Religious Education degree the student must complete:

  1. 57 semester hours acceptable to Carolina Christian College with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. The 57 semester hour requirement must be met by the following category of semester hours:
    1. Complete the 30 semester hours in core classes.
    2. Complete 21 semester hours in specialization.
    3. Complete 12 hours in Electives
  2. Satisfy all financial obligations to the College and be in good standing with the College.
  3. Successfully complete exit examinations.
  4. Exemplify Christian character, attested to by the recommendation of the faculty and the approval of the Board of Directors of CCC.
  5. Complete exit counseling interview.
